MILITANT UNIONS FOR ALL: we hold that one of the most essential elements of any workers revolution is militant unions and other working class orgs. Unconditional support for workers organizing revolutionary unions such as the IWW in their workplace against the capitalist class. Critical support for workers organizing in the more bureaucratic trade unions.

Creation of Workers Councils: We hold that rather than trying to reform the capitaist state in an incrementalist Parliamentary approach into “Nicer Capitalism”, we shoud instead create our own democratically run revolutionary movement within the shell of the capitalist state consisting of workers councils and the democratic workers organizations to feed into them. and in the process abolish capitalism entirely. in order to get to this point we must work alongside organizations that have similar aims, such as The IWW and assist in the creation of a revolutionary Workers state free from a ruling class.

Freedom of religion and from religion:

we hold that while freedom of religion is important, Religion is all too often used as a proxy by the ruling class to control the masses. Therefore we hold that in order to maintain Individual liberties, Religion must remain a personal choice people must make for themselves. they also should have the absolute right to abstain from religion and spiritualism entirely if they choose.

Ecosocialism: We hold that Capitalism has provent to be too environmenally destructive, ushering in the current problems caused by pollution and climate change and hold that we as a society could do better job by abolishing the disasterous for profit system as part of a much less wasteful and more utilitarian democratically planned workers economy.

Anti war, Anti Imperialism: We hold that most wars we see today would just end if you ended war profiteering, as such we hold that Ending Capitalism worldwide would greatly Reduce war if not end it entirely.

Housing for All as a Human Right:

We have the abiility to make sure everyone is housed. Unfortunately this is not possible to implement due to Landlords Extorting people. Therefore we support the Creation of Militant Tenants Unions and Demand Guaranteed Housing by abolishing Landlords and the for profit housing market and putting it under a democratically planned economy.

End Racism:

As International Socialists we demand an end to white supremacist institutiions and other racist and colonialist institutions worldwide. this includes ending systems like segregation and apartheid as well as other Capitalist systems, such as the police and prison slavery. There is no “superior race” and descrimination based on race must be done away with.

Eat the 1%:

There should be no billionaires or societal elite and we should organize with the intent to ultimately seize the the means of production. we propose that a redistributiion of wealth is necessary part of the transition to a more equal society. this would be best done done via a mix of a wealth tax, mass strike action as well as bringing industry into a democratically planned workers economy. this democratically planned economy however is also another reason why creation of workers councils is so important.

Womens Liberation and Socialist Feminism.

We reject patriarchy in favor of true egalitarianism. we simultaneously hold that traditional gender roles as they have been implemented have pressured men to implement a toxic patriarchal role and pressured women to be submissive to men. this dynamic needs to be dismantled in favor of more equal societal structures. we also demand abortion be guaranteed as a right free of charge under a universal healthcare system and declare as feminists that trans women are indeed women. we are strongly against discrimination based on sex.

Universal Healthcare: In order to guarantee everyone is taken care of, we demand Universal Healthcare. Too many working class people particularly in the USA are going into medical debt. this is in turn weaponized by the capitalist class as a means to keep the workers in line.

Universal Basic Income and Higher Wages: We hold that in order to Make sure everyone has their basic needs met, we should implement Universal Basic Income as a Social Safety Net for all. We reject the Idea that people are Inherently Lazy and “do not want to work anymore” as just greedy capitalists complaining that workers actually want to reap the fruits of their labor. so we simutaneously support raising wages should be part of the Transition democratizing the workplace and abolishing capitalism.

Lgbtq Rights:

We demand an end of gender and sex based descrimination, as such we support the rights of all people regardless of sexual orientation and gender. we also demand that gender affirming care be guaranteed as a human right under a universal healthcare system.

You mentioned you were communists, Does that mean You are in favor of a dictatorship?

A: No, We are in favor of a form of Socialist Democracy.

Q: 2 part Question: Do you have any relation to Either 1. The Spartacus League or 2. The Spartacist League?

A: 1. We Consider Ourselves To Be Ideologically Very Similar to Rosa Luxemburg And The Spartacus League Yes, however that group has not existed since the German Communist Party was Stalinized and the council communist wing collapsed.

2. We do not have any relation to the Trotskyist Party known as The Sparticist League, though our names are both clearly in reference to the aforementioned Spartacus League.

Q: Are you a Political Party? Do you have anyone in office?

A: We are not a political party in the sense that The Green Party is, We do not Propose a reformist parliamentary path to a socialist world. This has been tried many times and always ended up at best with a different version of Capitalism,. We instead Propose Organizing The Working Class into What is Known as A Dual Power that can challenge the Capitaist State Abolishing it entirely.

We agree with groups such as the IWW that we are effectively organizing with the intent to form the new society in the shell of the dying old one.

Q:You mentioned Socialist Democracy. Do you mean like the Nordic Model seen in Sweden?

A: No, Social Democracies are the result of reformists temporarily forcing capitalism back to an earlier stage. they are not what we mean when we say socialism. we instead propose a system putting workers in direct democratic control and abolishing the capitalist system entirely

Q: So if you don’t mean Like Sweden do you mean a dictatorship like China or Venezuala?

A: No, we do not. While the History is complicated we refer to the current chinese system as state capitalism since it’s effectively just capitalism run via the state. we also do not mean the authoritarian state as seen in Venezuala or Cuba.

Q:Where are you based?

A: We are International Socialists! Right now we are a small group Just starting up but we welcome anyone who is in general agreement with our politics to join.

Q: Revolution? You sound like a bunch of anarchists!

A: We are a left communist revolutionary party. We do definitely have some political similarities with some anarchist groups and anarchists are welcome to join but we would not describe ourselves as an anarchist group. one of the main differences is anarchists typically are in favor of extreme decentralization, such as what you see with the group Food not Bombs. We disagree. opting to organize under an organizational model similar to the one used historically by the KAPD, that is the council communists in Germany. This also differs fundamentally from many hardlining anarchist groups in that we are proposing using a revolutionary party, wheras typically anarchist groups operate outside of a party structure.

So you’re effectively proposing a new Soviet Union?

A: Yes and no. We are proposing something very similar to the original Idea behind the Soviet Union and the Comintern. However We hold that while the Soviet Union was one of the biggest successes of the communist movement, It was also simultaneously one of the biggest failures.

Effectively we want a Soviet Union that doesn’t degenerate and succumb to undemocratic Bureaucratic rule. We hold that no contradictary “Marxist-Leninist” dictatorship is needed smack on top of the workers councils aka Soviets.

A: NO, we’re antifascists, in oversimplified terms, We hold that Fascism is best described as a degenerated form of capitalism, not socialism. ABSOLUTELY NO NAZIS!

Q: What about Religion? What are your positions on Religious Communes?

A: We are Marxists. we advocate for a Secular form of Communism. we believe in freedom of religion and from religion.

Are You Trotskyist?

We Started recently after an Ideological Break from The Trotskyist Left we are probably better described as Left Communists or Council Communists. We have some organizational differences with the current Trotskyist Parties too. For example, Unlike Socialist Alternative and the Socialist Workers Party, we do not practice Democratic Centralism, instead opting for a Less Centralized Model.

So If you are not Proposing Stalinism, What Does the System You Propose Look Like?

We propose a Fully Socialist System that Is Comprised of Workers Councils Aka Soviets. In this system, The Workers would collectively be in Direct Democratic Control of the means of Production Via A Democratically Planned Economy, Guaranteeing the needs of every Citizen. Personal Freedoms would be Constitutionally Guaranteed. Perhaps the Closest Thing we see in Practice Today is The Zapatista Autonomous Zones in Chiapas or Communalism in Rojava.
